Archive Digital Arts M.A. Courses
2016
In September 2008, we launched the Digital Arts M.A. programme at the National Academy of Arts.
I was one of the founders of the programme and have taught here until the spring of 2016. I have explained the reasons why I left elsewhere.
This page archives some of the topics I have taught and makes the programmes publicly available (in Bulgarian).
- Screen-based art; an exploration of our understanding of “media” through the history of screen-based art, from early film, through experimental film and video, to today’s “screenless” work with screen-based media.
- NetArt; combining both a history and theory of internet-based art and hands-on practice.
- Interactive systems; an introduction to programming interactivity using Pure Data.
